Dan Higgins is co-founder of The Rowing Tutor with Louis Zaidman. The pair rebuilt the site from scratch in October 2026.
Dan is based in London and is a primary school teacher by profession, which shapes how he writes: plain explanations, worked examples, and no jargon without a definition.
He runs two other content businesses, so the site is written for readers rather than for search engines.
He does not take free kit and does not claim to have tested machines he hasn’t used. Every guide says which it is.
